What personal information is needed to open a Glance Capital Mastercard?
To apply for a Mastercard, Glance Capital will need the following:
- Name
- Home address
- Date of birth
- Citizenship status
- Social security number
- Phone number
- Email address
In some cases we may need additional documentation, such as a copy of your driver’s license and/or a current photo ID to verify your identity.
Will applying for a Mastercard impact my credit score?
Glance Capital will perform a soft credit pull when you apply for a Mastercard. If you do not qualify, no hard pull will occur. If your application for a Glance Capital Mastercard is accepted, a hard pull will occur at the time of approval, which may impact your credit score.
How do I activate my Glance Capital Mastercard?
Once you receive your new Glance Capital Mastercard, you can activate it by going to the Glance Capital Mastercard tab within the Glance Capital app, clicking “Activate Card” and confirming your Mastercard by providing the 3-digit CVC number on the back of your card.
Can I use my Glance Capital Mastercard in other countries?
You can use your Glance Capital Mastercard in other countries for purchases and ATM withdrawals wherever Mastercard is accepted. The funds will be withdrawn in the currency of the country where you made the purchase or ATM withdrawal. Please also remember to notify us prior to leaving the country so we can update your account for your security by calling us

Is there an annual fee for having a Glance Capital Mastercard?

How do I find my Glance Capital Mastercard account number?
You can locate your card number in your Glance Capital app. From the Mastercard tab tap “More” > “Your Card” > “View card number”
My Glance Capital Mastercard has been Misplaced, Lost, or Stolen.
You can freeze your card any time within the Glance Capital app by going to the Mastercard tab, tapping “more” > “Your Card”. If you are unable to find your card, please call us and we can assist you with obtaining a new one as well as deactivating your old card.
Do I need to notify Glance Capital before I travel internationally with my Glance Capital Mastercard?
Yes, if you plan on leaving the country please call us prior to leaving so we can make sure to update your account for your security.
How often is the interest accrued and compounded on the Glance Capital Mastercard?
We use the “daily balance” method (including new transactions) to calculate the Balances on which we will charge interest.
Where can I find my recent Glance Capital Mastercard transactions?
Select “Mastercard” on the Home tab of your mobile app, the page that opens will show your most recent transactions. To view older transactions, click on the “Statements” option to view past months’ statements and transactions. You can also view your statements on Glance Capital.com.

Why do I see a soft inquiry from Glance Capital on my credit report? I don’t have an active profile or account with you.
A soft credit pull may be used for marketing to potential consumers. Soft credit pulls will appear on your credit report but have no effect on your credit score. If you don’t want institutions like us to be able to pull soft credit for marketing purposes, you can either contact the credit bureau(s) directly to opt-out, or you can opt-out with all bureaus at once at https://www.optoutprescreen.com/. This will opt you out from not only Glance Capital but other institutions.
It is also important to note that the credit score in Relay is intended to provide our members insight into their debt situation and understand where they stand, It is not used in Glance Capital’s underwriting decisions.
How can I get my credit balance refunded?
You can request a credit balance refund by calling us, otherwise the balance will be automatically refunded to you after 150 days.
Why do I need a PIN?
Updating your PIN is important! You can change or set your pin through our automated phone system any time by calling us. You would need this for a cash advance or at unattended terminals (like buying stamps at a machine).
How do I change which notifications I am receiving from Glance Capital?

When will I get my first Glance Capital Mastercard billing statement?
Your first account billing statement will be generated approximately 30 days after your account is opened and will be available within the Glance Capital app and our website.
How soon will my Glance Capital Mastercard credit balance be updated after my payment has been processed?
Once a payment is processed you will see your balance updated within 24 hours, your available funds may take up to 5 business days to update depending on processing.
